Abstract:  One objective of the ACRL strategic plan is to, “support libraries in articulating their role in advancing issues of equity, access, diversity, and inclusion in higher education.” As the pandemic continues to disproportionally impact people in specific demographic categories, higher education is attempting to identify and mitigate areas of concern that have become more apparent. This presentation includes an overview of current academic library contributions to campus-wide DEI efforts and opens a dialogue about how to begin to establish DEI best practices.
